This add-on replaces two of the mobs in-game with two wards. A ward is basically the same as a turret in that sense that they are fixed to one position and then use their features either to attack monsters or heal players. They are especially useful to set up in and around a base as they will automatically detect and eliminate hostile mobs.

How does it work?

You can spawn the wards by building any of the two structures. And as you probably understand they replace iron golems and snow golems.

Each ward has a separate role but their common functionality is to help players. The Fire Ward will shoot fireballs at nearby monsters and the Heal Ward will shoot healthy snowballs.

The wards work similar to turrets and are fixed to one position unless you push them somewhere else. Meaning, they cannot walk.

There are three different wards. One of them is the Pumpkin Ward which shoots fireballs at hostile mobs.

Ward Features

Fire Ward

  • Replaces Iron Golem
  • Shoots fireballs
  • Health: 17.5 hearts
  • Immune to fire

Heal Ward

  • Replaces Snow Golem
  • Heals player
  • Shoots healthy snowballs
  • Health: 17.5 hearts

Pumpkin Ward

  • Replaces Zombie Pigman
  • Shoots small fireballs
  • Health: 12.5 hearts
  • 100% knockback resistance
  • Targets hostile monsters
